OUR EASTER TRADITION
"I will be honest — I created these because I needed them. I wanted a simple, meaningful way to walk my kids through the real story of Easter, and what started as a little tradition became something our whole family looked forward to every year. I have to give credit where it is due — the original idea came from someone else, and I simply expanded on it and made it my own. That is exactly what I encourage you to do. Use it in a way that works for your family. Add to it, simplify it, do one egg a day or all twelve on Good Friday — there is no wrong way. The goal was never more to do in an already full season. The goal is simply to look up, slow down, and remember together what this day is really about. These three resources together tell the complete story of Holy Week in a way that is easy to use, engaging for kids of all ages, and reusable for as long as you want to keep the tradition alive."
Twelve eggs. Twelve objects. One story that changes everything. This family-friendly guide walks children and families through the events of Holy Week — from the Last Supper all the way to resurrection morning — one egg at a time, each holding a small symbol and a scripture verse from the NIV Bible.
Events Before the Resurrection Eggs. These passages fill in the story leading up to the cross — use alongside your Resurrection Eggs for the full picture of Holy Week. This is a great addition for older kids
This is not one more thing on your to-do list — it is an invitation to slow down, gather together, and remember what Easter is really about. This simple guide walks you through creating your own egg set from everyday household items and offers interactive ideas for bringing The Road to Calvary to life with your family.
